Old Goa's Fallen Might

As we were out on a journey to explore the land of Old Goa and we reached behind Se Cathedral church, we were clicking some pictures of the place and to my surprise I spotted this highly visible landmark. Standing on Holy Hill (Monte Santo) is perhaps the most mournful memorial Ruins of the Church of St Augustine.

This church was one of the oldest church in Goa built by 12 Augustian monks. The only thing that remains today on that place is the tower which stands so high in the blue sky.  This really made an impact on my sight that I couldn't stop myself from putting this sight on my canvas.
